1. We use dedicated truck mounted duct cleaning equipment, using our own power. Introducing compressed air, and a variety of cleaning utensils, into each supply & return, we drive the dirt to our 8-10" diameter vacuum hose attached at various points of the ductwork system. The dirt and contamination becomes contained in our hepa filter vacuum container located in the truck.

This process is distinctively different from using glorified shop-vacs or carpet cleaning equipment, where the vacuum hoses are introduced into each of your registers.

  2. We remove each and every register cover, grill or diffuser and wash them by hand in a citrus orange solution. A user friendly product, it has grease & dirt cutting agents which ensure that the contamination from every day living is completely removed.

This service is seldom if ever offered by others, and is distinctly different from "air washing", or, in other words, passing compressed air over the register.

We also hand wash out each & every "boot" - the openings where each of the registers are situated. Each opening is also brushed to achieve a smooth surface for improved air flow.

  3. Your furnace unit forms and integral part of the ductwork system. The cabinet, blower & air conditioning coil, are hand washed, with fan blades brushed up to a clean smooth surface.

Filters are cleaned or changed out. Other relevant equipment to the heating system such as humidifiers, air cleaners, and air exchangers, are also cleaned.

  4. If your occupied space relies on return air from a ceiling plenum, unless we hepa vacuum that space, your newly cleaned ductwork system is going to be immediately re-contaminated!

You be the judge! If your goal is to improve your indoor air quality, you need a protocol that makes some good common sense. Be it for the air you breathe, reducing everyday housekeeping, or addressing the issues of a "dusty" work environment, Tennant Duct Cleaning 2000 guarantees your complete satisfaction.
